Warrior Passage Meets Saturday; Trip To Adventure Landing Following Meeting

The Warrior Passage Program will have its regular meeting this Saturday, April 9 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Dream Center. Boys should bring their notebook, a pen or pencil, and a Bible; and wear their Warrior Passage T-shirts. Lessons will be provided by the Spiritual Development mentors and the Life and Work Skills mentors. Homework from the March 26 meeting is due on Saturday.

>Following Saturday's meeting, the boys will be taken on a field trip to the Adventure Landing arcade on Capital Boulevard. Parents/guardians should give their boy(s) at least $15 to spend at Adventure Landing on games and other fun activities. We will arrange for transportation. We will depart from the Dream Center around 12:30 p.m. and return at 3:30 p.m. Please be on time picking up your boy(s).

>The Warrior Passage meeting scheduled for April 23 has been cancelled due to the Easter holiday and spring break. Instead, we will meet on Saturday, April 16 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Dream Center mainly for graduation practice. A second graduation practice is scheduled for April 30 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., also at the Dream Center. Graduation will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 7 in the Dream Center Dinner Theater. Following graduation, we will take the boys to the Men and Boys Outing at the YMCA's Camp Kanata for fun activities. Mentoring programs from across the Raleigh area will be at the outing. There is no cost to go on the trip.

>Warrior Passage's weekly tutoring session for boys needing help with school work is held on Tuesdays from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. at the Body of Christ Church building (not the Dream Center). All boys are welcome. Please take advantage of this service if your boy is having difficulty in school.

>If you want your boy baptized at Body of Christ Church on Resurrection (Easter) Sunday on April 24, contact Deacon Kevin Dozier, 349-8752, or Deacon Thurman Ross, 876-0271.
