Eleven (11) boys attended Saturday's meeting of the Warrior Passage Program. We had several boys who were absent; please try to attend as many meetings as possible.
>At Saturday's meeting, the boys continued their lesson on the Armor of God, learning about the Shoes of Peace. They also got a lesson on workforce readiness that included mock job interviews. The boys were given tips on job interviewing skills and asked to ponder why they want to work. PARENTS/GUARDIANS, please review with your boy what he learned at the meeting and ask him if he has homework.
>Warrior Passage T-shirts were handed out to those boys who ordered them at Saturday's meeting. If your boy ordered a T-shirt but did not attend Saturday's meeting, we will have the T-shirts available at our next meeting on March 12
OR you can contact John Boyette, 844-6920, to make other arrangements to pick up your shirt.
>If you did not order a T-shirt but would like to get one, contact Brother Boyette who purchased three extra shirts. He has two T-shirts remaining. The T-shirts cost $16.
>Please note on your calendar that graduation for Warrior Passage is Saturday, May 7 @ 10 a.m. in the Dream Center Dinner Theater. This is Mother's Day weekend. We are planning to take the boys on an outing following graduation but we are still ironing out details.
>The next Warrior Passage meeting will be held on Saturday, March 12 @ 10 a.m. at the Dream Center.
>Warrior Passage's weekly tutoring service for boys needing help with school work will be Tuesday, March 1 from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. in the BOCC church building, not the Dream Center. Tutoring is held every Tuesday at the same time. Please be on time.
