The Warrior Passage Program will have weekly tutoring sessions every Tuesday to help boys with school work. The first session will be on Oct. 5. All sessions are held from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Body of Christ Church (not the Dream Center). Please be on time dropping off and picking up your boy. Also, please make sure your boy brings his school books to all tutoring sessions. If he does not have his books, we will call you to come pick him up because we will not be able to help him. Remember that this is not a baby-sitting service.
If your boy is unable to come to tutoring on Tuesdays but needs help with school work, contact Warrior Passage co-leaders John Boyette, 844-6920, or Bruce Bean, 606-6988.

Next Warrior Passage Meeting To Be Held Oct. 9
Fourteen (14) boys attended the Sept. 25 meeting of the Warrior Passage Program. The Spiritual Development mentors talked to the boys about the makeup of the Bible. A Bible quiz was given to the boys following the presentation. The Character Development mentors led a discussion with the boys about respect and citizenship. Please talk to your boy about what he learned at the meeting.
>ALL PARENTS AND GUARDIANS should come to the meeting room to pick up their boy following Warrior Passage sessions. We will not release any boys until their parent/guardians comes to get them, and we will not bring your boy to you if you remain in your car in the parking lot. We want to ensure your boy's safety by making sure he is released to the proper person.
>Attendance for Warrior Passage meetings has been down the first month of the program. If your boy is still eligible to be in the program, please find a way for him to get to the meetings. If need be, contact me at 844-6920 or Bruce Bean, 606-6988, and we will try to arrange for transportation.

Warrior Passage Meets On Saturday

Boys should bring a notebook to take notes, a Bible and a pen or pencil. Also, please wear your Warrior Passage T-shirt if you have one. Parents, please make sure your boy is on time for all meetings and please be on time picking up your boy following meetings.
We expect to make an announcement soon on when weekly tutoring will be resumed for boys who need help with school work.
NOTE TO MENTORS: Please be sure to pay your $10 monthly dues.

Warrior Passage update-Sept. 13, 2010
Fifteen (15) boys attended the opening meeting of the Warrior Passage Program on Saturday. Presenting lessons were the Spiritual Development and Character Development mentor groups. The boys spent part of the time introducing themselves. We're looking forward to another exciting year. Following each session of Warrior Passage, please review with your boy what he learned.
Also remember that for every Warrior Passage session, the boys should bring a notebook to take notes, a pen or pencil, and a Bible. I have extra notebooks (free) if your boy cannot get one. Boys who have Warrior Passage T-shirts should wear them to every meeting. We will eventually order new Warrior Passage T-shirts for those boys who do not have one. The cost of the T-shirts will be about $15.
One other thing: Please make sure your boy is on time for all meetings. Also, please be on time picking up your boys at the conclusion of every meeting. We've had some parents arrive as much as 30 minutes late for pickups. Remember that our mentors need to get home to spend time with their families.
