Boys Discuss 10 Commandments, Trustworthiness

Sixteen (16) boys attended Saturday's meeting of the Warrior Passage Program. The Spiritual Development mentors talked to the boys about the Ten Commandments. The Character Development mentors led a discussion on trustworthiness and responsibility. Talk to your boy about what he learned at the Warrior Passage session.

>Please make sure your boy brings his notebook, a pen or pencil and a Bible to all sessions. We had a few boys who did not bring any materials with them. This is not a baby-sitting service; we want boys coming to sessions with the right attitude. That begins with parents.

>Once again, Warrior Passage is always looking for donations, be it cash or snacks. Program expenses are not covered by the church but are paid by the mentors through monthly dues. Any help is greatly appreciated.

>We will be taking the boys to the North Carolina A&T University football game against Howard University at our next meeting on Oct. 23. The university has donated free game tickets to boys in Warrior Passage. Look for more details about the trip to the game.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me. Have a blessed week!
